.........March makes one look through the door, and makes one burn hoes and shovels........

Girls, let`s go outside. It is really boring to stay at home. The weather is superb; we should take some photos and enjoy this nice sunny day. Hey, come on it is time to get fresh air and just take your jackets, be sure that we won`t feel cold. Yes, I and Semra went outside and we took some pictures since we felt really ready to feel the warmth of March. We were really happy and we walked, laughed and returned home.

Now:

Semra was ill and she couldn`t feel well to come school today. Yesterday, we had to sleep at half past three since she had a high temperature and I tried to help her so that she could feel better. I had a bad headache and I was sneezing yesterday. It seems that we should be really careful about the weather. Yeah I remember my mum. She always used to tell me to be careful about -sun-beautiful liar.I used to say who cares this, mum, u know it is warm enough to just wear a t-shirt but not a jacket with it. Now I realize that actually, she is really right about the weather.Even though I used to ignore this fact, now I really understand her and try to be careful about abrupt weather changes. Even today I was surprised in that it was sunny and windy yesterday and it turned out to be rainy today. I mean in one week , u may experience every types of weather condition. Anyway,at the moment I can say the proverb that puts forward the idea that '' March makes one look through the door, and makes one burn hoes and shovels'' absolutely rings a bell in my mind.:)))

New Day (Nevroz) Bairam in Turkey

Yes today is 21st of March. It is the day which is regarded to be the beginning of spring. This day is called as Nevroz Bairam in Turkey. Although, every country celebrates it as the beginning of spring, it is also a day for Kurdish people to rebel against some inequal policies and strenghts. Yet, it is a good day in that people hope and they never loose their expectations. They have optimistic feelings in terms of life, and they try to believe that everybody deserves to be respected. Let`s see the soul of Nevroz as an indicator of spring.

Heyy.... Come on...What is the role of women in this world? Taking care of children, having lots of responsibilities on shoulder,obeying the rules put forward by their husbands? Of course, not. Yes,women tend to be affectionate,more emotional and faithful to their families. However, this does not mean that they are weak compared to men.If you want to figure out what I mean , let`s look at what today means for proletarian women.

Yes, women have had a role of being opposite to discrimination and fascism made over other people in capitalist world. They used to protect others against massacre and attacks. They used to carry guns with their children in case of wars and clashes. Women are the ones who struggled in the places like factories,fields,and offices. They were pioneers of strikes made against inequality. They struggled for a future in which there was no discrimination between men and women. Yeah, I believe u have understood a bit what women have a role in society. I am proud of myself and the other women in that they try ro get their freedom , they don`t just deal with cooking and take care of their babies. They are also really good at everything for making develop themselves.
